Help Me Enroll in an Abstract Art Class

Pride aside, I'm asking for your support. Art has been my anchor, my source of healing, and my greatest joy. After suffering a stroke in 2021, I discovered painting through rehabilitation therapy at home, and what started as a way to regain movement quickly became my passion. Art has allowed me to express myself, embrace my journey, and find beauty in the layers of life—both on the canvas and within myself.

Now, I have the chance to take an incredible abstract art class that could help me grow more as an artist. February 20th is my birthday: I'll be turning 60, this class is more than just instruction; it’s an opportunity to refine my techniques, explore new creative depths, and push my work to the next level. And it'll be a wonderful birthday gift too. But, unfortunately, I can’t afford it right now.

Why I Need Your Financial Support

Due to the effects of my stroke, I still require periodic naps throughout the day, which makes working full-time impossible, I suffer severe, debilitating muscle spasms. My husband has also been unemployed since April 2024, and with our current financial situation, spending $1,500 on an art class just isn’t feasible. But I don’t want this obstacle to stop me from pursuing my dreams.

This is where I’m asking for your help.
