Art Pop-Up Fun and Artful Delights
Last weekend, I had the absolute pleasure of participating in a Visual Art League of Lewisville art pop-up! It was a whirlwind of creativity, laughter, and connection, and I'm still buzzing from the experience.
A Burst of Creativity
The pop-up was a vibrant explosion of color, texture, and imagination. My artwork, ranging from acrylics, textures and oil paintings, filled the space, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in a world of artistic expression.
Connecting with Art Lovers & Friends
One of the most rewarding aspects of the pop-up was the opportunity to connect with fellow community members, art enthusiasts, family and friends. I met some wonderful people, each with their unique perspective and appreciation for art. It was inspiring to share my passion with others and hear their stories.
Behind-the-Scenes Glimpse
While the front-facing experience was a joy, there was a lot of work that went into making the pop-up a success. From creating the artwork to designing the display, every detail was carefully considered. One thing I still deal with after suffering from a stroke, is fatigue, and though I had a wonderful time, I was exhausted. I took many breaks, rested, slept, then the day came, and it was well worth it!
The effort was all worth it for many reasons, when I saw the smiles on people's faces as they admired my creations, when my family and friends showed up, worth every moment! Seeing children create their own artful expressions, priceless.
A Heartfelt Thank You
I want to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who came out to the Wayne Ferguson Plaza to support my pop-up. And, thank you to those of you who made this possible for me. Thank you Denise Holguin, VP of VAL, for your continued support!! Steven and Mari Ann, i can't say enough about your love and support, many thanks for helping me out. Everyone, including those who couldn't be here in person, your presence, support, and enthusiasm made the event truly special. Love and hugs to my paid subscribers! You made this possible. And finally, my favorite sister-in-law, love you and your continued ❤️ and support. My success is because of you all!!
I'm already looking forward to the next one!
