As Mental Health Awareness Month comes to its close, I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude. Thank you for opening your Substack and sticking with me this month. I know it was a lot, it was for me too, getting "Blossoming Art From The Heart" in your email daily, a lot of reading, and daily posts, but your engagement has meant the world.
I've personally read and responded to each message with joy.
I also want to thank all of you who "restacked" my Substack. I so appreciate every single one of you who joined this journey.
This month, we've explored how art, in its most carefree and imperfect forms, can be a profound tool for navigating our feelings, whether it's frustration, joy, or quiet contemplation. We’ve emphasized releasing perfectionism and rebuilding our capacity for movement and expression through the simple, honest act of creating. We’ve talked about how crucial it is to remember that mental well-being isn't about reaching a fixed point, but about the ongoing process of tending to ourselves, just like we nurture a budding plant.
The beauty of this journey is that it never truly ends. Just as there’s no finish line for personal growth or rebuilding mobility through fun, there’s no deadline for mental health. It's a continuous practice of self-compassion, curiosity, and embracing all the messy, wonderful parts of being human. Every day is an opportunity to choose kindness towards yourself and to extend that kindness to others.
Let's carry the energy of this month forward, integrating awareness into action not just for May, but for all the months to come. Remember the power of gentle steps, authentic connection, and the sheer joy of creative exploration. Well, that's wrapping it up my creative friends. 🧡
Gentle Assignment for Day 31:
As we step into June, here's your final gentle assignment:
Reflect on one personal takeaway from this month that you want to hold onto.
What resonated most with you? What small shift in perspective or practice will you carry forward? And remember, your journey doesn't have to be solitary. Anytime you're interested in connecting further, please feel free to message me, comment, or share a compliment.
Your thoughts and presence truly mean so much. 🥰

Your financial support really does go towards helping this artist purchase supplies to continue painting and entering exhibitions as well as selling art. I'm a full-time artist now, all monies I earn supports my continued journey.
Thank you for your support and love. 🥰🥰
