Getting back into the swing of things has never been so daunting, till now. After suffering a stroke, it’s not so easy getting back into the swing of things. Everything changes, and yet, “I Still Dream”. I refuse to let go of what I dream about and what I’d love to be doing. I’m embracing change; and embracing renegotiating things that need recreating. And, helping, coaching, mentoring is and will always be part of me.
I’ve always been told that “I have a counselor’s heart” because I do. I love being there for people when it seems like no one else is there for them. I love listening to their stories; helping them rewrite their stories, or even inspiring them to change their perspective on life, others, and sometimes even their mindset around themselves and their limiting beliefs around their illnesses and/or diseases. You are only as strong and courageous as you allow yourself to be. You can still dream even when you find yourself in a body that is different, difficult and challenging.
And my favs? Those who have lost their confidence or courage in finding their own purpose, passion, and power in life after traumatic events have occurred. Those who have given up on their dreams need notgive up!!
Sometimes life beats you down, but you have a choice to either stay down, wallow in self-pity, or get back up and put on your boxing gloves and fight! Stand in your newfound courage, rise up with confidence, and kick-ass! As you can vividly see, I’m on the rise. I’m putting on my armor of courage and confidence. I’m standing strong. And, I’m coming back stronger than ever.
Right now I’m faced with recreating clarity around my own business and life. The clarity for this next phase of my life and career will shed light on how I now want to show up, not just for myself, but those whom I will coach and mentor in the near future.
